Terms & Conditions

Your booking request is sent to us by email and will be dealt with by our reception team. Whilst the system automatically sends you a copy of your booking request to the email address you entered, this is for information only and is not itself a confirmation of your booking. Your booking is not made until you have received an email of confirmation from the hotel.

All bookings are subject to our acceptance of your booking request. Whilst we endeavour to keep our room availability details up to date on this online booking system, we cannot accept liability for information which has become out of date before we are able to send you an email of confirmation.

You have a legal responsibility to ensure that the information you give us is true and correct to the best of your knowledge.

The hotel reserves the right to refuse any booking.

If you have to cancel your booking with us we will require the following notice:

1 to 5 rooms ~ 24 hours
6 to 10 rooms ~ 7 days
11 to 15 rooms ~ 14 days
16+ rooms ~ 31 days

If we receive a cancellation notice in less than these stated periods, you will be liable for 100% of the total room booking cost.

Please note that payment is due on arrival. All extras not paid on departure will be automatically charged to your credit card.

Your credit card details are held to guarantee the booking and no payment will be taken until either on arrival or in the event of you cancelling the booking within our cancellation terms if the room is not re-let

Our charges are quoted in UK Sterling (Pounds Sterling) and must be paid in that currency. Our quoted charges are inclusive of all UK government taxes, including Value Added Tax.
Gratuities for staff are entirely at the discretion of the guest.

For all guests wishing to pay in cash on arrival, you will need to provide a credit card that will be pre-authorized for £50.00 (GBP) for incidental charges and government-issued photo identification will be required.  We reserve the right to cancel your reservation if you do not comply.

Parking is available free of charge within the hotel grounds on a first come first served basis. Vehicles and their contents are parked entirely at guests' own risk.

Please note; we do not accept dogs (except service dogs) in our hotel.

Bedrooms are normally available for occupation from 2.00pm on the day of arrival, but guests are welcome to arrive early (even for breakfast) and use the hotel facilities. On departure rooms must be vacated by 11am - late checkouts will be charged for. Guests are welcome to use the hotel all day though, and late checkouts may be arranged at an extra charge. This arrangement can only be made close to the date of the booking and subject to availability.

Breakfast and dinner are served in the Mocca Room.
Bar snacks are available in The Oak Bar between 11.00 and 9.30pm daily.
Breakfast: 7.00 - 9.30am Monday to Friday; and from 8.00 - 10.30am Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays
Dinner: 6.00 - 9.30pm last orders.

The hotel is non-smoking. Please be aware you will be charged for the cost of Deep Cleaning if it is found you have been smoking in the hotel bedrooms.

Behaviour of guests and their visitors should not be excessive or rowdy, and must not cause annoyance, distress or embarrassment to fellow guests. We reserve the right to recover from the person making the booking any discretionary compensation payment, or discount; we may have to pay to any other guests, as a result of your actions, or a member of your party or visiting friends. This includes damage to hotel buildings, fixtures and fittings, and includes flood damage. Any item taken from the hotel bedrooms will be charged for.
